Taskforce

Anthropological education and new audiences

What anthropological education experiences are already underway or can be developed outside the university worldwide?

We would like to explore educational initiatives aimed at reaching new audiences and raising awareness of anthropology in public contexts, with a view to lifelong learning.

We will consider experiences and strategies, both in formal and informal education, that foster the development of the anthropological perspective in schools of all levels, in communities and in different public settings, among individuals of all ages.

We will examine the interconnections between the various sectors of educational societies, from the local to the global and vice versa, as they influence each other and at the same time feed into the future life of our universities and anthropology in particular.
